The Student Personality of Slovakia is a national competition of young talented people – students of 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree of university education. Main organizer of the project is the Junior Chamber International – Slovakia. Its goal is to motivate students of Slovak universities to achieve exceptional results, value their talent, wisdom and purposefulness. At the same time it creates an opportunity to present extraordinary students to the public and help them to break through in their home country as well as abroad. The project is realized under the auspices of president of Slovak Republic, under the professional auspices of Slovak Academy of Sciences and with support of Slovak Rectors’ Conference. The general partner of 9th year is traditionally the Skanska SK company.
Student of 2nd year of his master’s degree in Robotics, Lukáš Pariža won in the category Electrical engineering and Industrial Technologies in 2012/2013. In his diploma thesis named “Localization of a mobile robot with visual system” under the supervision of Andrej Babinec MSc. PhD. he focuses on problems in the field of mobile robotics. He is also thoroughly interested in robotics in his free time. With robots created on his own he attended several international competitions, where he received various prizes.
